Aesthetic and Functional Prosthetic Rehabilitation
“I’m truly happy that the problems I once had are now behind me. My sincere thanks to Dr. Žan’s team.” – Risto Karamanov
This patient came to our clinic with significant damage to his teeth caused by excessive wear from long-standing, untreated bruxism—chronic teeth grinding and clenching. The condition had led to severe tooth abrasion, disrupted his bite (occlusion), and even began to affect the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), resulting in discomfort and functional issues.
Given the complexity of the case, a carefully tailored prosthetic rehabilitation plan was created to restore both the structure and balance of the patient’s oral function. The treatment involved the placement of high-strength, aesthetically refined zirconia crowns and bridges, designed not only to rebuild the worn-down teeth but also to restore the bite to its correct physiological position. This realignment was essential for reducing stress on the jaw joints and preventing future complications.
The entire procedure was performed with close attention to detail, ensuring that both aesthetic and functional goals were achieved. The final result was a fully restored, harmonious smile that looked completely natural while providing proper bite support and joint stability.
Risto’s case is a powerful example of how modern prosthetic dentistry can reverse the damage caused by years of neglect and functional strain. With his new healthy smile, he not only looks rejuvenated but also enjoys improved comfort and overall oral health.
At our clinic, we believe that every smile deserves individualized attention and expert care—because function and beauty should always go hand in hand.
