This case involved a patient who had numerous teeth with large composite fillings that had been repeatedly repaired over the years. Due to frequent chipping and the compromised condition of both the teeth and the fillings, we decided on a full protective reconstruction of the upper arch using zirconia crowns. Our goal was not only to restore strength and function but also to achieve a long-lasting, aesthetically pleasing result.
To further enhance the final outcome, we also performed an aesthetic gingival correction, improving the gum contour to create a more harmonious and balanced smile. Attention to detail was essential, especially in the visible upper arch, which dominates the patient’s smile and speech.
At the patient’s request—and considering his facial features and smile line—we selected a brighter shade of white for the crowns to deliver a fresh, clean, and youthful appearance. The result was a dramatic transformation that not only restored functionality but significantly improved the patient’s overall facial aesthetics.
