This patient came to our clinic with a complex dental condition that required careful assessment and a personalized treatment plan. He had a congenital absence of his upper right lateral incisor (tooth #12), as well as the loss of several other teeth over time. These issues had affected both the aesthetics of his smile and the functional harmony of his bite, making prosthetic rehabilitation a priority.
After a thorough clinical evaluation and detailed imaging, we determined that implant placement was not a viable option due to anatomical limitations in the available bone structure. Instead, we opted for a non-surgical approach that involved full prosthetic rehabilitation using zirconia bridges. The entire process was carried out using a fully digital workflow—from digital impressions and virtual smile design to precise milling of the final restorations—ensuring optimal fit, function, and appearance.
High-strength zirconia was chosen for its durability, biocompatibility, and ability to mimic the natural translucency of teeth. Each bridge was custom-designed to blend seamlessly with the patient’s facial features and to restore proper occlusal relationships (bite alignment).
The result was a complete transformation. The patient received a beautiful, natural-looking smile that significantly enhanced his facial aesthetics. Functionally, the rehabilitation re-established a balanced and comfortable bite, allowing him to eat, speak, and smile with confidence.
