Complex full-mouth reconstruction in a Class III case using digital workflow

This patient came to our clinic from the beautiful and sunny island of Kos in Greece. A very positive person with a lot of problems with her teeth. Most of her teeth were failing due to periodontitis and deep caries.

After a careful examination and analysis the plan was to extract all her teeth in the upper jaw and keep some in the lower jaw for easier transition for the patient.

Immediately after the extraction 6 implants were placed in the upper jaw and 5 dental implants in the lower jaw. The implant therapy was executed with a digital workflow and using surgical guides. She was provided with fixed temporary teeth for the healing period.

After 6 months of healing and osseointegration of the dental implants, the patient came back for her final restoration. The case was a difficult Class III with advancement of the lower jaw.

But using a digital workflow and detailed planning a total mouth reconstruction was made with an hybrid zirconia-titanium construction and zirconia crowns and bridges. A beautiful, new, functional and esthetic smile was provided for this lovely patient.

Now she is even more happy and smiling all the time. We are very satisfied to have changed one more life. Dentistry is much more than just profession.
